Digital performance for both adults and shoolchildren. A solo performance with the musician and performer Martin Franke, performed inside a spectacular rotating apartment where the world turns up side down. For all those who have been in conflict with their selves. Made by the Dutch theatre company Het Houten Huis, which also produced the show »Unknown Land« at Figurteatret in 2016.
This morning I left home in due time, but when I left, it turned out that I was still lying in bed. When I got home that evening, the version of me I had left at home, had locked me out. Through the window I saw him running around the house. It was chaos: my mail had been stuffed in the fridge, fish were swimming among the houseplants and my dirty laundry had been hung out for everyone to see. When I pointed this out, he denied everything and quickly slipped into the painting in the hallway.
Now I’m hiding under the bed. The roof lamp swings back and forth, and I can hear the clock ticking louder and louder.
