Gløtt is a visiting story and a meeting between nature, light and myth- a silent movie where the scenery is put to music. Through a peeping hole the sun will draw living pictures before our eyes –  a diorama in motion where it’s difficult to know what is up or down, dream or reality.  The University of Oslo has collected oral stories and legends from all over the country into an archive – stories that bear witness to the everyday struggles facing the wind and weather. In Stamsund we will bring forth voices from coastal Norway and hopefully bring them back to life.  Join us in ancient photo magic, the origin of the camera, camera obscura has for centuries been subject to fascination and discoveries of how we see the world and how pictures essentially contain light.  Remember warm clothes!
