Sauna talks is an invitation to talk together, for the duration of a sauna session, about how climate change influences our daily surroundings, offering a warm environment to talk about a hot topic. We’ll talk about how we notice changes and adaptation in our surroundings and in our bodies, with a break in between to get fresh air and remember how good it feels to cool down.
Through the rituals of a sauna experience, this invitation proposes small groups of spectators to take off their clothes and experience a different way of talking about climate change, through the direct experience of our bodies and the practice of care through the body.
Performance length: 35 mins, consisting of two sessions of 15 minutes with a break of 5 minutes. The temperature will be between 60 and 80 degrees.
We offer a towel and fresh water for each participant. You can join naked or in underwear.
And join us for the two sharing sessions, Punctures #1: Care Session/ #2: Care Session Wednesday 28th and Friday 30th, 12.00, of body practice to try out different ways of observing and tuning into the non-human world around us, together.
