A strange monster appears on a beach near Stamsund, and a group of kids goes behind the back of their parents, and the authorities, to set it free.
Ahead of, and under the festival, the population of Stamsund will be invited to participate in the making of an uncommon film. Draug – The Film-project will be shown during the theatre-festival, and who knows, maybe Draug himself will show up for the premiere if the red carpet is laid out…
