EcoPhilosophic Dialogues is the name given to a group of six artists, three from Iceland and three from Norway. The dialogues consist of bringing their separate artistry together to create a network between countries, using art as their language. They work in different media with different approaches to explore countries’ similarities and differences in culture, language, and nature, while creating their art along side each other in new places. In 2023, the artists will come to Lofoten, both to work in a new landscape and to set up an exhibition at Gallery 2. The works in the exhibition will comprise paintings, graphics, installations and botanical prints, all of which will reflect some of the dialogues that have taken place.
